He is such a fun baby. We have the best time with him - especially when he is awake. Just learning and trying new things with him. He has started to smile at us... and Nik can get him to laugh! I have not mastered that yet - he saves his laughs for his daddy. But that is okay. For now.
We are still working on the sleeping thing. When I think we finally got it down, he wakes up at 2 am. And that is not fun when he had been sleeping through the night. So, we are still working on it!
Other updates... he has started wearing size 1 diapers. They are a little big - but working out okay. He is wearing 0-3 month clothes. He still loves his baths, bouncer, swing, play mat and being outside. He will only let me read to him for a few minutes, but loves music and will move around lots when any music is playing.
He has started making the most hilarious sounds when he is eating. When you take the bottle out of his mouth he squeals - like a little pig! It is so funny. We have tried to catch it on video. As soon as we do, I will post it so you can hear him. It cracks us up every time!
We go for his 2 month check-up and shots Monday of next week. I will post stats on weight and length, then. Now for some 8 week pics of Jaxen!
