Christmas Decorations

So the date today is January 9....and my house is still completely decorated for Christmas! I can't believe that everything is still in place from the day I decorated (the Wednesday before Thanksgiving). I know this would drive some of you crazy...mom...

Am I the only one who has not un-decorated? Please tell me I'm not alone.

The other night me and Nik were sitting on the couch and I asked him how he liked our Christmas Tree. He gave me puzzled look and then I continuted to tell him that if he thought it looked okay, I might just leave it up through the year until next Christmas! Ha! That is how much I am feeling the need to undecorate. However, later on that evening Nik mentioned to me that I would have plenty of time this next weekend to undecorate (think that was a hint?).

We will see how it goes....my personal goal is to have it undecorated by Valentines day.

  1. LOL! I think you might be the only one. I am sad I did not get to put up Christmas decorations at all on our new house, but if I did.....Steve is very adamant about them being down before his birthday because he hates feeling gipped from Christmas being so close. Good luck with take down. My family used to have something from each holiday up year round, but they finally stopped that. P.S. Your decorations are very nice though!

  2. Ok, you are not the only one. Mine is still up. I have managed to move all of my Christmas decorations under the tree but it is still all out. I like having the gentle glow of the Christmas tree lights. Maybe one more week....or two. :) kylee

  5. you totally beat me! i undecorated everything but left the tree up and undecorated. Then went to the dollar store and purchased valentine day decorations. needless to say i had a valentine tree. (i have pictures). then the hearts came down and st. patricks day went onto the tree. i finally decided that 4th of july stuff would look funny on a pine tree and took down the whole tree last weekend! -Jessica
