Family Time

The weekend before Easter we had more company!

This has been a fun time of year.

First, my sister visited; then some friends; after that, Nik’s parents;

and lastly, Nik’s brother and his family!

They arrived on a Thursday and we let Jaxen skip

school to spend time with them on Friday.

I had to work, but they had a good time!

First up, Scheels!

They got to see fish, ride the Ferris Wheel, go bowling, shoot some guns

and play all over the store - we just love that place :)

For dinner that night we hit up Chuy’s!

Nik and I ate at Chuy’s when we lived in TX and I loved it.

I was so excited to finally go back.

My food was delicious…but Jaxen did not like his at all :(

What he did like, though, were these push ice cream pops!

Cute cousins!

They had the best time together!

As did Zane, Bella and Caleb…we just have a lack of pictures of them…haha!

Saturday morning it was cold…but we hit up an egg hunt at a local church.

Zane did this while he was supposed to be hunting eggs...

cried his little eyes out because all he wanted to do was this...

all the other kids enjoyed the egg hunt though!

Next up - face painting!

The kids enjoyed some egg games, bounce houses and the playground!

We ended our time there with balloon creations

(in the longest line ever, I might add)!

We then went downtown to explore Union Station and Crown Plaza.

Zane took a little nap.

I took a pic with Nik and got a cute little photo bomber!
