Summer basketball is in full swing and the boys are thrilled!!!
Zane is #3, in the light blue:
He is a little baller and just loves to play! They do not keep score at this age. And I’m pretty sure they have lost most of their games - but it is so much fun to watch then!
Jaxen is #5, in the dark blue:
And guess what?! He was fouled in his second game and ended up making both his free throw shots (which was a first for him)!
The summer basketball league is a bit more relaxed than the regular season. Meaning...there is only 2 practices before games start. Once the games start - no more practices. Each team has 1 game a week and it’s on a week night. So our weekends are open and we attend 2 games a week.
Jaxen’s coach still has “optional” practice on Sundays… so Jaxen makes it when he can.
So far, Jaxen’s team is undefeated. They went undefeated all last season and in his coaches words “they are out to get us”! The drama - haha!
