The boys and I love spending time at the pool in the summer!
We started out with a bang - the first day the pools were open, we were first in line, and the boys were even the first ones in the water this season!
This blog is an account of our days. Nothing fancy - just our life!

Jaxen sure does keep us on our toes! He will be 10 this month which partly explains why I don’t have any pictures of him on my phone…. he never wants his pic taken!
Here’s a few stories about Jaxen (instead of pictures)…
Jaxen joined choir this past year at school and really enjoyed it! I think he will be a part of choir again, next year.
Although he was counting down the days until school was out, I think he is really looking forward to being the oldest at school next year (elementary only goes to 5th grade here).
Jaxen heard of one of our neighbors losing their dog (slipped out when the door was open). Jaxen immediately hoped on his bike and rode through the neighborhood looking for it - he found it! He was very worried and knew he could help. Sweet, right?!
Jaxen very much wants to earn some money and he often has ideas about how to do so. Many times, I have to talk him out of an idea - just because it’s not practical and he does not think through the logistics. He seems to be very entrepreneurial!
Jaxen is learning a lot about responsibility and maturity. Not a day goes by that one of those words are not in a conversation we have - ha! Part of growing up… some days can be awfully tough, but then others are pretty sweet.
Stayed tuned on how we will celebrate my little boy turning 10 ðŸ˜ðŸ˜€
Oh Zane… he is one of a kind, isn’t he?! Just take a look…
Cutting his own hair (with supervision, this time)!
It’s been a minute…or 5 months 😊
I am not really sure where to start….
Christmas came and went, as did New Years, Easter and all the other Holidays. I’m sure they were all fun.
Zane turned six.
Jaxen played basketball. He improved a lot. His team went undefeated.
We had multiple trips to the Urgent Care.
Both boys finished up school and are so excited its summer.I think we are all caught up now!
Stay tuned.. I WILL be back!
Well, tomorrow (Friday) is the boys last day of school for 2021. They are pumped! Even I'm ready for a bit more relaxed schedule :)
Here is a little bit of life lately for you...
