This year, when I asked Jaxen what he wanted to be for Halloween, he replied with “Mario”!
Nik went on a man-hunt for a Mario costume and Jaxen looked so cute in it!!!!
Poor Zane did not get a choice (neither did Jaxen at that age).
He was an orange crayon. Again.
And he was pretty cute!
Nik’s parents were here this past weekend while I was out of town and
they went to a fall festival where the kiddos could dress up!
Jaxen’s “mario-belly” makes me laugh!
Last night (Halloween) I came home from work and we headed out.
Jaxen was all ready to go and Zane would not even put his costume on.
We stopped by a friend of Jaxen’s first.
And then we trick-or-treated around Jaxen’s school.
And we had so much fun!
Zane was totally into it, and following Jaxen’s lead.
Jaxen was being a nice, super patient big brother too!
As a mom, this is a night I will remember for a very long time :)
It was just that kind of night.
After we finished one neighborhood we let Jaxen meet up with
some friends in a different neighborhood.
They had a good time - but we did not stay too long.
It was getting dark, lots of people were out, Zane was done by then, and
the decorations get way more scary when it gets dark outside.
Not my thing.
After that - we went out for pizza!
It was fun night!
